Here’s to you Manish !

As you may have seen on the article I posted earlier ( HERE ) I had the chance to attend the press opening of the 3 SUISSES collection, including the outstanding outfits designed by Manish ARORA , the Royal Enfield bike he customised and the matching helmet .

Then, later in the evening, I was invited to meet Manish with some other happy few, at  » DERRIERE  » , a hype restaurant in Paris !!

First came the journalists and a few blog owners, and then HE arrived .

He is a rising star in the fashion world, and yet manages to remain simple and easy going .

We all came to him at once with our questions and our  » business card « , and there he was, smiling, and eager to answer each and every question !

 » Do you have plans to design clothes for children ?  »

 » I sure will, knowing I already do in a way for my friends’ children ! Furthermore, children tend to like my clothes, probably because of the colours and joy I mean to put in them  »

 » Do you have any co branding project like you did with Nivea and Swatch ?  » ( at this precise moment, while asking the question, I notice he is wearing the hudge gold dollar watch he designed for Swatch, the exact one I had set my mind on, but in the end, did not dare to buy, and cannot find anywhere anymore ! ) « 

 »   Yes, first of all I have a project with  » goodearth India  » , I also designed a limited edition bag for Pommery, which will be sold very soon, and I am working on a jewel collection with Swarowsky, with whom I have been working already for all my couture collections « 

 »  Which one is your favorite piece in the collection you designed for the 3SUISSES ? « 

 »  The peacock blouse: it is simple to wear, colourful, and the peacock is the national bird of INDIA « 

 » who’s the Manish woman for you ? « 

 » I’d rather not define a specific type of women because I want everyone to be able to where my clothes; I would say  » any woman confident and adventurous !  » « 

 » what about the Royal Enfield motorcycle you customised ? «

In the end, he took our cards, promised to visit our blogs and read our articles, proving that not only he is a great designer, but also a very nice and sweet man !

comme vous avez pu le voir dans l’article posté précedemment, j’ai eu l’immense chance de participer à la présentation presse de la collection printems été des 3 SUISSES, incluant les tenues exceptionnelles conçues par le créateur Manish ARORA, la moto Royal Enfield customisée et le casque assorti.

Plus tard dans la soirée j’ai été invitée avec quelques autres heureuses éluesà rencontrer Manish au  » DERRIERE « , un restaurant branché parisien !!

tout d’abord les journalistes, puis quelques bloggueuses, et pour finir, IL arriva !

Il s’agit là d’une étoile montante dans le monde de la mode, et pourtant, il reste simple et accessible.

Nous nous sommes toutes précipitées sur lui, avec nos questions et nos cartes de visite, et il était là, souriant, et disposé à répondre à la moindre de nos questions !

 » Avez vous prévu une collection Manish ARORA  » enfants  » ? « 

 » cela viendra probablement, sachant que je le fais déjà d’une certaine façon pour les enfants de mes amis ! De plus les enfants ont tendancez à apprécier mes vêtements, probablement grâce aux couleurs et la joie de vivre que je cherche à communiquer par leur biais « 

 » avez vous des projets de  » co branding » comme vous l’avez fait avec NIVEA ou SWATCH  » ? ( à ce moment précis, alors que je pose la question, je remarque qu’il a au poignet l’énorme montre dorée avec un $ de la collection SWATCH, celle là même que je voulais tant , que je n’avais pas osé acheter, et que finalement je ne trouve plus nulle part ! ) « 

 » oui, tout d’abord j’ai un projet avec  » goodearth  » en Inde; j’ai également créé un seau à champagne pour Pommery qui sera bientôt en vente, et je travaille sur une collection de bijoux avec Swarowsky, avec qui je travaille déjà pour mes collections de haute couture « 

 » quelle est votre pièce favorite dans la collection pour les 3 SUISSES ? « 

 » la blouse paon: elles est facile à porter, colorée, et le paon est l’oiseau national de l’INDE « 

 » qui est la  » femme Manish  » pour vous ? « 

 » je préfère ne pas donner une définition particulière de cette femme, car je voudrais que toutes les femmes puissent porter mes vêtements; je dirais  » toute femme sure d’elle et aventurière !  » « 

 » que diriez vous de la moto Royal Enfield que vous avez customisée ? « 

 » je dirais qu’elle explique et définit l’ensemble de la collection « 

Pour finir, il a pris nos cartes, nous a promis de lire nos articles, démontrant ainsi que, non content d’être un grand créateur, c’est également un homme charmant et disponible
